Right then

Chuck out the cod

Fry some finely sliced shallots in some olive oil until translucent
Add crushed garlic and finely chopped chillies
add salt and pepper
lob in the worm followed by a bit of tomato puree then add 1/2 can of chopped tomatos
serve with fresh tagliatelli
garnish with finely chopped basil and shaved Parmesan

Pasta ala wiggli wiggli, is it's name.

A genuine Neopolitan Classic

TTF

p.s. give the cod to the cat, but whatever you do don't tell it about the worm, it'll be jealous.

judging by the link by Laughing Gravy above, we've all consumed such worms over the years if we like cod.

Worms are to small to cook that long. A light dusting in cornstarch and quick 10 seconds in hot oil .Serve with lemon, don't spoil the moggy.

What a bunch of girly ladyboys on here !

You lot had better think twice before eating farmed Salmon then.

Because they are tightly packed and reared in "tanks " formed by a cube of nets in sea lochs, Parasites abound, luckily, these can be got rid of by rinsing the live Salmon in pesticides regularly. A similar regime using a fungicide will prevent fungal infections which can spread like wildfire in closely caged fish.

Oh, forgot to add, a wild Salmons flesh is pink due to the adult fish feeding almost exclusively on Krill which has a natural pink coloration. Farmed Salmon never sees a Krill so in order to get the "natural ", pink looking Salmon fillets, the pelleted food they are given contains a pink dye.

Now, lets have another look at that Cod shall we ?:lolol:

Don't give two hoots what they are doing, if I buy fish, I want fish not worm...simples!!

It's mostly Icelandic cod that suffer from worms, most fishmongers would spot them before selling a fillet though, quite common really.

That's revolting. I don't care how "harmless" the worm is, the fact is it's wriggling about in your dinner and Morrisons owe you an apology and a refund. If they ever want you to shop there again they are also going to need to do some serious arselicking

This ................ maybe the posters username is a bit ironic :lolol:
