Canton Ave in Pittsburgh. The climb is short at 65m, but the top half is cobbled....& its 37%! Steepest street in the USA.
Keere Street in Lewes or the main street in Clovelly, Devon?
Is that the 'wall' they go up in the US pro champs?
There's one or two in Mile Oak that are pretty steep...…………..Further afield the street leading up to Lincoln Cathedral is called 'Steep Hill' and it is.
A street in Wales could be declared the world's steepest. But it looks almost level compared to the Drove in Brighton. Where's local resident Hove Born & Bred when you need him?

Vale Street in Totterdown, Bristol is supposed to be the steepest in England.
The cars are parked sideways, not sure the handbrake would hold otherwise.
I drove up that road only last week BG. It is indeed steep but nowhere near 1 in 4 I would imagine.
I was told, many years ago, that May Road, near the top of Elm Grove, was the steepest in Brighton. I can't be asked to check this out.
The bottom part of that is mad, but further up is that any steeper than Albion Hill?

Walked up Steep Hill a couple of years ago when we played Lincoln in the FA Cup. There's a good pub at the top, beyond the cathedral.
An interesting part of a not great football afternoon, I think we lost 3-1 maybe?
Parts of Albion Hill must be pretty steep. I remember my Nan, who was from the Hanover area, telling me that in order to be a postman in the old days - I guess the 1920s - you had to be able to cycle up Albion Hill from a standing start. Great story even if bulls*t.
May road is flat?I was told, many years ago, that May Road, near the top of Elm Grove, was the steepest in Brighton. I can't be asked to check this out.
