This dick takes some beating

We could end up with a lot of threads here. But I'd be fine with that on this occasion. I think this would more be the rioting Darwin Awards than stupid.

X has become almost comedic in the last 24 hours with Americans telling us ‘our rights’.
Elon Musk arguing with Larry the Cat 😂😂
I'm so glad I voted for Larry the Cat. Elon Musk is clearly rattled by him. The next we know the rioters will be publishing his name and address and sending patriots down there to get him...

Maybe not a finalist for 'Most stupid' but a day trip to Brighton for a riot can't have been the best idea they've had this week :dunce:

Larry the Cat got a free blue tick, meaning that yes, it's verified, it is definitely the Downing Street Cat Larry sending the tweets.
If there was a call put out to lay siege to Larry the Cat on the basis of his support for immigration, you could be guaranteed that there would be attendees. You know it would happen. Stupid knows no limitations.

So you're likening our police officers to caged monkeys
Er.......no. No I'm not

I am likening people who goad the police to small children dicing with potential harm.

Ryan Wheatley

A lawyer defending a rioter who “barrelled” into a police officer while running at counter-protesters claimed his client was simply trying to share his “point of view”. Barry Keel, defending, told Southampton Crown Court Wheatley “had some agreement with the counter-protesters” and that his client had “wanted to put his point of view that his concern was about illegal immigration rather than immigration per se”. .

Newmarket.
This guy, goads police, eats riot shield. Twice.

I'm certainly in no way anti Police and certainly not pro dumbass rioters, and we hadn't seen specifically what went before but I think that doesn't show that copper in a good light.
If that chap had cracked his head open and died, then as before some years ago the obvious headlines would've written themselves once again.
I can't imagine what it's like having to stand there and watch cocky, thick, liberty taking bell-ends knowing that I shouldn't really smash them in the face with my riot shield and i'd want so much to do the same but I think it shows a lack of common sense and control.
So what if the Court would say it was justified use of force, I'm not certain I'd want the months of worry about whether i might be losing my job and joining the crims in jail.

Sadly, I disagree. It probably was the best idea that that lot have had - not just this week; the best idea they’ve ever had.

I mean, as ideas go, it’s a pretty shit one, I grant you, but nonetheless it just about qualifies as an idea and so is probably the best one they’ve ever had, simply due to the scarcity of them happening at all in that group of people.

I would argue that it wasn’t ‘smashed’ into his face. He short arm shoved him which is nothing like being ‘smashed’. The copper looks bored rather than aggressive. I suspect too much alcohol made him a bit unsteady on his feet.
