Early drama in WHC XI, as former champion the Mantis Shrimp is beaten into fifth place by the Orca despite a late rally. Mr Nelson's Left Foot's impassioned defence, made 11 minutes before poll's end, just wasn't enough. The Salt Water Crocodile has shown its credentials, comfortably cruising across the line in first. Is the Grasshopper Mouse conserving its strength for the later rounds?
So far the Black Swallower, Asian Giant Hornet, Siberian Tiger, Grizzly Bear, Salt Water Crocodile, Hippopotamus, Grasshopper Mouse and Orca have made it to the knockout phase. Things won't be getting any easier for the crazy combatants.

Hippo wouldn’t even get out of second stampede gear to win this group! What groups the bull frog in? That’s one bad ass who could give the Hippo a scrap....
