Tarantula Wasp
This bad boy hunt and kills Tarantula's. It has hooked claws on its legs and has the second most powerful sting in the insect world

Black Mamba
The Black Mamba is the 2012 champion. The fourth most venomous snake in the world, the black mamba is the most feared snake in Africa and the most advanced snake species in the world. It's the fastest snake in the world, mixing speed, venom and aggression to bring terror to all that encounter it. And they can climb trees. The Mamba disappointed last year in its defence of its title. Will it do better this year?

Grasshopper Mouse
Yet another debutant, the grasshopper mouse is highly territorial and aggressive. It stalks its prey, howls like a wolf and kills and eats scorpions, snakes and other mice. It's impervious to the stings and venom of its scorpion and snake prey. Could be a dark horse.

This hardy little guy is a muscular beast that cn swim, climb trees has amazing speed and endurance, will eat pretty much anything going and has one of the strongest bites per unit body mass of any extant mammal land predator. Never really got going in the WHC competition. Is this they year that will change?
