Tarantula Wasp

This bad boy hunt and kills Tarantula's. It has hooked claws on its legs and has the second most powerful sting in the insect world

This tough ******* can survive in slat or fresh water. It has the strongest bite force of any cartilaginous fish, is highly aggressive and is responsible for the majority of near shore shark attacks.

Inland Taipan

This Aussie native is the most venomous land snake in the world. Unlike other venomous snake he doesn't just strike once-although that would be enough to kill his prey-he strikes a number of times in succession.

Black Mamba

The Black Mamba is the 2012 champion. The fourth most venomous snake in the world, the black mamba is the most feared snake in Africa and the most advanced snake species in the world. It's the fastest snake in the world, mixing speed, venom and aggression to bring terror to all that encounter it. And they can climb trees. The Mamba disappointed last year in its defence of its title. Will it do better this year?

Sun Bear

The third bear in this years tournament, the sun bear is the smallest of the family. Nonetheless he has long, sharp claws at the end of his powerful arms that can leave tress in shreds.

Baboon

Another debutant, the baboon is a powerful, omnivore who has no problem raiding human camps for food.

Grasshopper Mouse

Yet another debutant, the grasshopper mouse is highly territorial and aggressive. It stalks its prey, howls like a wolf and kills and eats scorpions, snakes and other mice. It's impervious to the stings and venom of its scorpion and snake prey. Could be a dark horse.

Tasmanian Devil

This hardy little guy is a muscular beast that cn swim, climb trees has amazing speed and endurance, will eat pretty much anything going and has one of the strongest bites per unit body mass of any extant mammal land predator. Never really got going in the WHC competition. Is this they year that will change?

Tarantula Wasp- Yep, certainly sounds pretty mental. Willing to take on a pretty hard animal in itself in the tarantula

Bull Shark- do prefer this to the GWS

Moose- I like these kinds of animals, where they're really chilled out until you annoy one

Mosquito- NO NO NO ****ING NO. This is in no way 'hard'. It's only claim to fame is that it causes loads of deaths. It causes deaths by spreading disease. Like an AIDS victim. Is your average AIDS victim hard? No

Inland Taipan- I need more convincing from our numerous snake experts on here

Black Mamba- I suspect 2012 was a bit of a flash in the pan....definitely need more convincing

Sun Bear- sounds a bit......gay?

Baboon- They're definitely mental. Can someone convince me of their hardness?

Grasshopper Mouse- Sounds absolutely brilliant, why hasn't this been here before?!

Tasmanian Devil- This guy has seriously underachieved. If it had the fanbase of the Honey Badger it'd be right up there every year as I can't see too many dissimilarities between the two. THIS GUY IS GETTING MY BACKING THIS YEAR

They are well known to be the most dangerous bear and will attack for no reason. And against things much much bigger. Just because it feels like it.

"TANAH MERAH - A 35-year-old rubber smallholder suffered deep cuts on his right foot when he was bitten by a sun bear in Kuala Balah, Jeli on Tuesday.

Osman Salleh said the bear ran off after he hit its head with a parang in the 4pm incident.

He said the bear weighed about 50kg and was about a metre tall.

"I suspect it's pregnant. Normally, a pregnant bear is more vicious."

He said he was riding his motorcycle along a dirt track to buy food for himself and his father when the bear appeared.

"The bear appeared at the same time when my motorcycle stalled," he said yesterday at the district hospital where he has been warded since Saturday.

Osman said when he got off his motorcycle, the bear chased him around the machine for several minutes. "Then, the motorcycle toppled over and it lunged at me."

He said he hit the bear on its back with his parang every time it lunged at him but that did not deter the animal."
