The whole humans are hard debate is shit. Humans use tools. Tools that were made by society at large. If you shoot a lion with a gun, the lion will die. Not because you are harder than the lion but because of the tool. Which wasn't even made by you. It's an amalgamation of years and years of the cleverest people in history inventing and refining the tool, and a group effort involving you and the people in the factory who made the gun. It's basically pack hunting because the means by which a human would win a "fight" with a lion is in no way due to the individual level of the "hardness" of the human.

For this to be a valid argument you need to take a bog standard average human (for the sake of argument let's make it the physically stronger male of the species) and drop him in The Amazon jungle, stark bollock naked and see how he fares. If us humans are such good tool users he should easily be able to fashion himself a weapon that will help him take down a JAGUAR fashioned from the materials available in the jungle.

Right?

If RAMAZZ doesn't make it through it can wait until next year. During the next 12 months I suggest that, along with the other competitors, he gets boiled, frozen, blasted into space and subjected to ground zero for the first nuclear blast of WW3. When we reconvene he'll be all, "How is everyone? Where is everyone? What you mean, 'they're all dead, they died during the boiling bit', what a bunch on lightweights, is that all you've got? Walk in the park mate, not even a flesh wound."

HARD.

Shove any of the others in a deep sea sulphur vent and see how they like it, for the tardigrade it's just a change of scenery.

For every human that throws itself into dangerous unnatural situations, or enjoys fighting simply for pleasure... There are easily ten times as many humans that are home-bound, completely unadventurous, scared of confrontation, scared of the dark, scared of spiders/flying insects... you name it.

seahorses aren't even horses, but everyone still calls them a 'seahorse'. If that's not the definition of hardness then i don't know what is.

Group C is closed. Congratulations to the grasshopper mouse, polar bear and Malayan sun bear who all progress to the knock outs. We have a tie for the fourth qualification spot so we'll have a head to head tie breaker between the mantis shrimp and wolverine. That'll be up a little later today.

You asked, you get.

Here's an uncontacted tribe in the Amazon pointing home-made bow and arrows at a scary flying bird monster (helicopter). HARD.
