Three Six Nations, including a Grand Slam, and a World Cup Final. England had only won one Six Nations in the previous twelve.

Other decent Rugby playing nations exist too.

Jones is a quality coach. The team are back in transition at the moment. Happy for him to stay another 7 years.

There's no arguing with his record but likewise there's no denying the last 2 six nations have been awful. There are a lot of rugby fans who are baffled by his team/position selections and the talent he has at his disposal right now is second to none but he doesn't seem to make the best of them.

I agree. He still doesn't seem to know his best team and after yesterday, what does he do with the debutants who all played well?

After half time and Australia were on top for a while, England seemed to revert to old habits of giving away penalties but something snapped and they got back in control.
Some great mauling and the lineout was strong too.

Agree with all of that, one thing that got me, if true, 29 missed tackles!! That't not great.

In the field
Although my teams are Harlequins and England, I tend to enjoy rugby as a sport first and foremost. So I'm not very emotional with England. I can see that he is a coach with good credentials. But that's because I don't get upset when they don't do well.

Rob Baxter is the obvious replacement when he does leave. But I'm not sure if he'd want it. He seems happy down in Devon.

Steve Borthwick is the man. The turnaround in both culture and performance that he’s brought about at Leicester in a short time is amazing.

Not a fan of some aspects of the head contact law. I reckon the ball carriers are now dipping their heads to instigate yellow cards on the tackler imo

Wow just Wow Ireland, that was a fecking awesome display and a fully deserved victory. They made NZ look very average for large portions of the game. The tackling when NZ looked like they might come back was absolutely immense

Scenes down in New Zealand. Farrell not good enough for England though, the same as Shaun Edwards he doesn't know which way to pass the Port after Dinner...

Five minutes gone, England absolute shite so far

If Australia were taking their chances we’d be 13 points down by now, dreadful. 11 mins gone
