Live on Eurosport, already been a couple of absolute belters. ‘Big’ Jim Williams survives a major scare to get through to the Round of 16 and Scotland Captain ‘The Boss’ Ross Montgomery our after an epic tie break was sad to see. Great to see the respect the BDO audience give the players.

Scotty 2 Hotty v Scotty Boy last night was an absolute classic. Two tungsten gladiators going toe to toe, both England captains both proud captains of their respective counties, Dorset and Yorkshire slugging it out toe to toe for 9 gruelling sets.

Only sad point was it seems some PDC fans infiltrated the audience last night with the first ever chants at a BDO event if ‘stand up if you love the darts’.
