The business end of the WC starts today and we've all had a good look at every team so which team in your opinion has one hand on the cup?

I have a feeling there'll be a real shock this year, take your pick from one of these 3, Mexico, Uraguay or Chile.

I said Spain at the start, but Brazil look better, and there`s every chance they might meet in the second round, will be a shame if they do.
Argentina look good going forward as do the Germans, not sure the Dutch have enough matchwinners in their team as they are very workmanlike.

Im amazed people say Holland. I don't think of them as even contenders. Their defence is not good at all and will struggle against the top sides, Robben is massively important but not fully fit and I certainly don't rate Kuyt, Van der Vaart or Van Bommel. Sneijder and Van Persie are their only real hope of doing anything against the very best

I really dont think anyoen stands out... you'd fancy one of the big teams but they have all shown fallibility. The only team that has been consistent with eleven players is Germany ... however that was for less than one and half games.

Brazil, Argentina, Spain have all looked beatable..... Netherlands have been pretty good but I just cant see them going all the way... defence looks ropey still.

Indeed. Over here they are bricking it simply because there's now a real possibly they're going to have to play Italy in the 2nd round.

And thats their othe problem..... you cant rely on Van persie to get all their goals... there is no successor to Van Nisteleroy.... let alone Van basten.

Providing they don't meet before i think 3 of the semi finalists will be from South American (Brazil, Argentina and Chile) with Brazil emerging triumphantly after beating Argentina in the final
