Best post so far, even on a World Cup match day thread we get a bit of Brighton negativity, not being nasty, just find it very funny.

Not negative, just factual (up to that point in the game).

In a strange way I find it re-assuring as it is what he needs to do and he knows how to do it.

Australia have been impressive the way they've grown into this game. Their game plan is to defend and sit deep and build from just inside their own half, then create from set pieces.

It's working a treat. Good for them that the overrated Man Utd version of Paul Pogba appears to have turned up.

Also worth noting just how competent Ryan looks, organising his defence and superb distribution with his feet releasing pressure when he can.

Honestly I do feel this WC could be the making of him. He's better than Kaylor Navas IMO.

Poor ref, being very easily fooled by France time and time again.

Aussie game plan working well so far but the concern is whether they’d have anything to shift to if they concede.

Mooy looks excellent today.

I'm quite pleased with this, not least because I'm tired of hearing all these people overrating the French. They are just not all that.
