But he's stolen our lives because he had the chance in the last WC and the Euros, but blew it because:
-- he's got his handbrake on
-- he doesn't pick the players, or use the formation, or play the game in the way that X know-it-all England football fan thinks he should

absolute bollox, we lost fair and square to Croatia, they were the better team and there's no way we'd beat France in the final with MBappe unplayable. In the Euros Italy were the best team in the tournament and tactics don really play a part in a shoot out

Tchouameni is world class, better than Rice or Phillips.
Hernandez on a different, higher, level to Shaw.

They faced three packed, deep lying defences. Cameroon and Serbia repeatedly hacked down attacking Brazilian players.

Whilst other groups contained Wales, Qatar, Canada and Costa Rica.
