What brilliant composure and finish from Aboubacar. So pleased VAR allowed it.

This is turning into one of those unexpected classics you tend to get at every World Cup. More twists and turns to come, I expect.

Inspired substitution bringing Aboubakar on.

Marvellous scenes!

Was still tickets available for this up to an hour before kick off, but swerved it for a day at the beach instead !

This is like a kick around down the park with your mates and jumpers for goalposts. Only thing missing is Rush goalie.

Much prefer it compared to the "drawn out trade union negotiations between accountants and accounting firms" kind of football seen in some games (like England vs USA).

Well that was as enjoyable as watching Canada has been this tournament. Great game!

Cameroon left with the bigger battle now though with Brazil still to play. I really don't want Switzerland going through from this group.

Well I listened to the first half but had to go downstairs to watch the second half. Two teams knowing that a draw wasn't enough and going for the win.
Permutations for the third games in this league all depend on Brazil v Swiss at 4:00 as Cameroon play Brazil so they must hope for a Brazil win today to maybe ease off a bit.
On the other hand Serbia v the Swiss is a winner takes all.
Loving the World Cup.
Next up is South Korea v Ghana and LAMPTEY STARTS. Look out for Chris Hughton too, maybe lurking in the back team as part of the technical support staff.
When you read this you can hear Hughtons voice.
"The mood is very good and I think it's the realisation that it's a game [against South Korea] that we need to do well in. But we are still here and we are here for a reason.
We played against probably the best team in the group and came close. So I think that's what will give the players the confidence going into the game against South Korea."

Lamptey has Son down his side, good luck!

Bit moany I know but anyone else find Dion Dublins commentary just incredibly annoying, I’m not even sure why :lolol:
