I think from what I’ve seen so far, France and Brazil are the favourites, they are the teams who I’ve watched and thought they had another gear that other teams like Argentina, Holland, England etc can’t match

And Brazil can get to the semis by beating Korea and Japan/Croatia
Pre tournament I thought Argentina but now I think France purely because of Mbappe.

He’s far and away the best player in the world these days, freakishly good and he looks really hungry. He can win it on his own Maradona style.

The only true piece of footballing magic in the Argentina match was when the Australian waltzed through about four of five defenders and was stopped from scoring a wonder goal by a last ditch tackle. Messi is good but boy do commentators/pundits overrate him.

Just to put Messi in context, yesterday was his 1000th game, and his 789th goal from those games. He has scored these goals at every single level of club and international football. I think he’s a lot more than just “good”.

It's just a shame that our Alexis plays for such an unlikeable side.
It was a great atmosphere last night but the Argie fans are so intense and in your face.
