Dion Dublin - “I want to see more from Dembele” after 2 minutes. Wow.

Of all the teams in the last 16, Poland are by far the least inspiring so I wouldn’t care if they got battered TBH

For all this is a state-of-the-art, brand new purpose-built stadium, the main camera angle is a bit shit. Should be a lot higher up.

More empty seats than the East stand at the Amex on 89 minutes

The Fatherland
It looks a very middle class England support out there, either that or they have carefully selected the fans they interview on the box.
Where’s arse-flare-man when you need him?

Got to feel for the Poles a bit there. Best they’ve played all tournament, really should have scored, and then BAM - it’s probably all over now.

Beauty by Giroud. Off-balance, not even looking at the goal -- his sniper's GPS just tells him where to stick it.

I like Pochettino, he’s absolutely spot on in his assessment. France have been no great shakes.

I have no sympathy, if their number 18 had held the line it'd have been offside.

... I'm just a bit grumpy as Junior Orange's team were holding an okay line first half today but were sitting too deep, and when told about it at half-time still sat too deep, lost the shape completely, and shipped five goals.
