I won't. As stated before, I reckon half the crowds will be white. This will be patronising commented on as a triumph for the rainbow nation by simpleton ITV commentators. But after the WC has gone, I fully expect no white faces in sight for any domestic league games there.

Anyway, my point is that the cameramen will be lapping up any signs of racial integration in the crowd. Anyway, I'm merely being cynical, not up for a binfest by any means.

Fair enough. Nor am I. I was very surprised at the number of black faces and Vuvuzelas at the final of the Super 14 Rugby a couple of weeks ago when it was held in Soweto. So you never know, a by-product of this is that more whites get into soccer. Although judging by the twat who was just in my shop asking why everyone was closed/closing early ("soccer - huh - but that's not in KZN is it - I thought it was in Cape Town"), it will be the younger ones more than the older ones.

Quite a short ceremony i thought, particularly compared to the epics you get with the Olympics.

very enjoyable i thought.....just the right duration..........did anyone notice one of the participants missing from the logo top to middle right ...probably getting mugged somewhere close bye.
