Have its says good service that day! you can go on the victoria line and change on too the bakerloo line no probs! Mayb im wrong tho!

Hammersmith to Edgware Road three week closure
From Saturday 24 July to Sunday 15 August inclusive, no Circle or Hammersmith & City line trains will run between Edgware Road and Hammersmith during engineering work at Paddington

I'd like to add, I know f*** ALL about how the underground works

Use the journey planner on the tfl website, on the right of the homepage, advanced options means you can search a route on the 7th.

You can get a bus from Victoria straight to Paddington, takes about 20 minutes.

You could always catch a number 36 bus from outside Victoria. Fairly regular and take about 10 minutes to get to Paddington.

I believe it's only the Hammersmith and City line which is effected by the engineering works that day, the Bakerloo Line should be running normally. Check this though closer to the date.
