My company has booked the whole top floor ( the 36th ) of the CityPoint Tower in the City....which is nice.

The funny thing is the whole CityPoint building is completely non smoking, so the smokers will have to travel down 36 floors in the lift to go outside to smoke a fag.

2005 could be a worrying year on the job front.

Off to Fontwell Races on Dec 7. Day-long paid-for piss up, lose me shirt, then back to Brighton for more of the same (booze, not the gee-gees). We'll proabably also do a 'Secret Santa' evening at the Hotel du Vin as guests of the hotel nearer Christmas as well.

When I first started work, a lot of companies had their works dos in January.
December was too busy and it gave you something to look forward to in the dark miserable month that is January.
