For reasons I genuinely don't understand, some people say it instead of "holiday", as in "where are you going for your holibobs this year"?

No idea why, and it seems to be exclusively twats who do it.

Ah, yes, that is quite annoying.

All those being said by mockney Cockneys riles me no end.

In fact even the real cockney accent pisses me off completely.

So many dont know where to start.:tantrum:

"Is that good?" said to someone whos eating, as well as the term Moreish.

Yanks who suffix a sentence with the word already.

Humankind. clumsy and ignorant PC speak in general.

Compliance.

Phrases like , off the wall, outside the box, face doesn't fit.

Oxymorons and double negatives.

Americanisms like Persons instead of people.

In fact, at no stage did I claim the word Cushti originated from Cockney, YOU CU*T

I guess that's how people like you like your conversations

No you implied it you didlo, and yes thats how I like my conversations with all the usual forum tarts. Its a Misanthrope thing, get over it shrimp.

"There or thereabouts". Every time I hear it I just think "Where, exactly?".

Crimbo; invite (when used as a noun); literally (when something isn't); significant (ditto* literally); tinpot; unique (when used after quite, very, or anything else).

Not a phrase, or even something that annoys me, but I often think it is strange when TV people say to you, the viewer "See you after the break, see you tomorrow/next week" or similar. Because, of course, they won't.

*Apologies if "Ditto" is on anyone's list - I know that it can be annoying
