Gary Anderson is the Champion of the WOOOOOORRRRRRLLLLLDDDD!

What an incredible game and effort from both players.

Well done Gary, he held his nerve. Phil killed himself missing those three darts at double 16 in that second leg. Most 180s in a final, most in a tournament now by Gary. Top darts!

I thought Anderson had wound himself up too much when the three darts fell out and the person in the audience shouted something. But he put all that behind him and played an excellent final.

Well done Anderson. The greatest player of all time just slipping a little. Still in his 50's not unexpected. 16 times the champ is still a good record.

Nice! I thought it might've been more than that given the side of the draw he was on. Bet you had a few nervy moments in that final? Or did you lay it off?

No I don't ever do that - whatever will be will be mate! I thought it returned £50 but when I logged into my account it was £100 - nice suprise!

Have to say though that it did smell quite a bit of a stagemanaged match.

I hope not, but having watched literally thousands of darts games, that one didn't look quite right unfortunately.

In what way? Taylor seemed a little apathetic towards the end by his normal standards, but I just thought that was because it's so hard to maintain the level of intensity he has for so long.
