Not enforcing the follow on as they have done is surely the most sensible way to go. We can bat as long as we like and put Worcs totally out of the game, plus it allows for further deterioration of a pitch that is already spinning. If we had put them in we run the risk however small, that we have to face a couple of sessions to survive, it may also be in Worcs interest to declare with less than normal as they may need the win, depending on how Yorks or Hants do.

I predict Sussex will declare with 30 minutes to go tonight looking for the victory. They are effectively safe now any way so there is little risk to this strategy.
