Gamestation have got some online

I just tried that and we you go to the checkout it informs you that it cannot be ordered on its own only as part of a "bundle/combo"

I'm spending every lunch time trawling round the shops in brighton in the unlikely event that I manage to find a copy, Game doesn't even have any sign of it.

Woolies are brilliant! Daughter works there part time and now i get discount.
20 percent off XBOX LIVE, 10 percent off all games, special promotion weekends where they double the discount... Shame she is on course to go to Uni really.

A chum of mine used to work in the London Road branch. Apparently they had NO security locks on the front doors, or CCTV cameras. As a result the only way they could prevent overnight break-ins was leaving lots of large items up against the front doors.

As you might realise, this was NOT very sucessful.

None of the woolies stores have cctv...and only items over a tenner are tagged with alarms...and littlehampton and rustington branch also have no security locks or alarms on their front doors thats why they push cages up against the doors....woolies are stuck in the 1960s,and thats why they lose money and will go bust...

I've never quite got what market Woolworths are going for. Computer games, toys, sunloungers - sounds like a random collection of stuff you'd get in a liquidation sale...

Sounds a bit like a pseudo department store or something. Same as Argos, perhaps???

If Wilkinson sold CD's and games, there would be no point in Woolies - they do 'it' better.

Happy days.
My mates missus has snaffled a Mario Kart off Ebay for me for for less than thirty squid, should have it for tomorrow. All being well, I'll be online KARTING tomorrow evening (abeit rather drunkenly following the days festivities). Now, there's a well-known phrase I would normally spout at moments like these....what was it now....ooh its on the tip of my tongue.....AH YES

the staff at woolworths in haywards heath are a JOKE

i remember i went in there a few years ago and they didnt even have a spud gun for sale - the staff were about as helpful as an inflatable dart board as well. especially the TOSSER on the till wearing a ridiculously tight fitting shirt that did NOTHING to hide his bulging stomach

That member of staff you mention...he stalks me on conference calls, which I find to be rather scary.

They did food and clothes years ago. They always had a quality deli.

The chief executive of Woolies went to the school as me (Varndean) although he's two years younger.

Still, I can't say I'm particularly envious of him trying to turn Woolies around: I'm surprised it's still going.

Do people still go to Woolies to buy stuff like that?

Play.com or Amazon all the way, no queue's no retarded retail mongs to attempt communication with, no old woman in front paying for a jmc slice and dice in 2p pieces

Still no answer on the sherbet fruits then.

This is of major importance since Mrs Albion has been dispatched to Blighty to fetch me some. If she comes back without any, I need to know if she has a valid excuse or whether she just doesn't care enough about me.

Do you mean Trevor ? When I was at Varndean he didn't have a double barrelled surname though.
