I have been dumped twice by women who went on holiday to Lanzarote, immediately after they returned...there is no way on Earth I would have gone with them...now it is one of the first things I ask a potential mate, whether or not they have ever been there or are planning to do so in the near future!

I went with a g/f I'd been with for a few months to Lanzarote and she told me she loved me, to which I replied, 'That makes two of us, as I love me too...' Cue the waterworks and the P45 a little while after we got back :hammer:

I met a lady the other week,on the first night out she was quite clear she was looking for a friend first lover second.I was quite happy to go along with the softly softly approach so adjusted my behaviour accordingly.
On the second night about three hours into the evening she out of the blue said "I am quite happy to have sex with you but it will have to be with a condom".
At the end of the night we were both heading our seperate ways and she said she wanted a goodnight kiss and then proceeded to stick her tongue down the back of my throat.
I did not hear from her for two days then I got an e-mail from her saying she did not think she wanted to see me again as she felt we were "not on the same page"

Sadly I am still confused.

Not confusing at all. You were clearly "not on the same page".

Furthermore; Her acceding to sex with you in that manner, doesn't suggest she has a very good outlook on relationships, romance or sex.
It suggests she has little class, and she is perhaps better advised to hang about on the lesbian side of town - where she might find a girlfriend who is "on the same page".
