Could you deal with your child, your own flesh and blood, turning out to be a Palarse fan? If so you're a bigger man than me. That law would have to be laid down very early but if she supported them, think I could get over it by gloating 9 out of 10 times and taking it out on the backdoor should they ever manage a result (0-0 etc.)

Before I married my Mrs I made it very clear. Father in law has had no chance. Wedding colour scheme was blue and white, kids are seagulls through and through. If you do this NEVER compromise, it's Brighton all the way. No half way, quarter way, 1% agreement.

The good people of NSC

I have recently become quite close to a girl I have know for a while, good looks , intelligent, all round nice girl.
Except there is one BIG problem…

Here father is a big time Palarse fan, and she is starting to follow in his footsteps.

Do I still go for the chance of a relationship with her? Putting apart this obstacle?
Help needed, NSC lend a hand ! What would you do?

When you say 'all round nice girl'. How round? Makes a difference you know.
Does your Father have a gun? I think the answer is in the song.

What's the problem with her supporting a different football club? Ok, it's Palace, but come on. It just adds a whole lot more banter and a different dynamic to the relationship. And next season, when her team is in a lower league than yours, there's all sorts of gloating that can go on.

The girl is the most important thing, if she's worthy, then that's your answer.

Oh do f*** off Claire Rayner. Quite clearly he wants smart arse replies.

Back doors first date, I reckon. In fact ATM

do?

This bit worries me. If she got the Palace bug then their is much more chance of a fight over the kids support. Don't do it, I couldn't think of anything worse than my kids supporting Palace!

mmmm......bit of a contradiction there.

Go for it, better a football fan than not, even if she does go to the dark side of the force.

I would tend to go for this approach...at least you can have some friendly banter with someone who loves the beautiful game...round my way most women are more interested in egg-chasing and a lot of them are a bit on the frightening side!

Oh f*** off you dick! You really are one of the biggest tools on this board!

The answer is simple....

Fire a load up her, take photos, post them on here then send them to her Dad with your face photoshoped out and Gus Poyet's put on!

Alright, I answered a bit quickly and SLIGHTLY misinterpreted the direction this thread was going to take. ???

So I change my reply to do the deed in her dads bed at a time when you know he's going to be coming back, whilst wearing your Albion shirt.
