Finished four all...initially I was disappointed that the PL wasn’t on Sky forcing me to watch the Hull/Swansea game ..but in the end it was a winner

9k at Hull tonight. Didn't realise their attendances had dropped so much - decent sized city with a decent catchment area

Farcical.

I absolutely hate VAR but it’s clearly here to stay for some reason, so why don’t they update the rules and end this ridiculous situation with offsides and handball?! It’s made the Premier League a bit of a joke this season.

When the "level is onside" rule came in, it was clearly stated to be with the purpose of allowing more goals, and it was also clearly stated that level was to be judged by the naked eye and not by toenails. It was thirty years ago, but the guidance ot referees was something on the lines of "if a player looks to be level, then he is level".

All they need do is go back to that same, supposedly unchanged, rule, and interpret it the way it has always been interpreted. Jota looked level, so he was level - good goal.
