I agree they could be in huge trouble although don't think the Coady blow is as big as people think, they've moved to a back 4 and the general consensus is Coady isn't good enough to play in a 2 and in a WC year he wants and needs first team football. To be fair, there is no team that cheated the system more than Villa so I think your relative is on shaky ground there! They were staring admin in the face having gambled massively on promotion and got lucky. The net spend from that club over the last few years has been phenomenal and with very little to show for it.
