Factually we are not. Simple. Just because you don’t think 1 + 1 = 2 doesn’t mean you’re right.

Has the season finished then?
Doesn’t mean I’m wrong either.

As per my post final position and points are what matter.

I was wondering if I'd gone mad after reading almost comprehensive praise on NSC, so I looked up the first 5 match reports for headlines and excerpts.
For what it's worth, Vs the Talksport commentary team:

BBC: 'dull goalless draw against out-of-form Brighton.'
Sky Sports: 'a game of few openings', 'The passing rarely managed to find its way into the final third of the pitch', 'That just about summed it up on a day when neither team did enough to score.'
ESPN: 'a dismal 0-0 draw at home'.
The Guardian: 'a largely uneventful Saturday afternoon'.
Birmingham Mail: 'lacklustre draw'.

That was largely how I saw it up to the 80th minute.
But I completely understand the general positivity on here, maybe due to the teams below us losing.

Fair enough - I only had the Talksport commentary to go on - and at one point they said this:

(Hope I've managed to link to the actual post).

I would say Potter got it spot on, we did a job on them, they had one shot on target! There front two have been scoring for fun and we stopped that. Job done.

There is something I find most peculiar this evening. Countless posts on this thread say 'very good point' but in none of them is the point quoted or any indication given as to whom people are replying.

Yep, that's fair enough too, we did everything except win. A point away can't really be complained about (in a purely results perspective).

I would say Potter got it spot on, we did a job on them, they had one shot on target! There front two have been scoring for fun and we stopped that. Job done.

We also had one shot on target, the job done (in my opinion), is going up there for a point, which was acheived, plus the others all lost, so on those facts alone, good point.

My comments have purely been based on performance/s. I always feel that we could be very often doing much more offensively, and today's game (for me), was dull, and lacking.

To each their own though, ultimately we've gained another point against our relegation rivals.

One more draw is the equivalent of 4 points.
Two ahead of the bunch below us means one win for them but our goal difference means one more draw for us and the others need FOUR points.
What??? Just think about it.

I guess the Huddersfield result has darkened your mood and made you feel sarcastic?

We have put a few decent results together and were always going to struggle at l***s

I wasn’t being sarcastic...this was an excellent result in the scheme of complete shiteness the last few weeks.

Leeds heading for the PL, to break NSC hater hearts.

But will we be in the PL with them?

Yep I think we will, but let's not kid ourselves the football isn't the best, lovely passing but fekin hell no end product.

Great to be in the Premier League but christ on a bike it's crap to watch us struggle at the top table week in week out.

Mr. Bloom has worked the oracle but top ten we ain't, let us all hope we can progress next season.

I think maybe top ten was a long term aim rather than a prediction for this season ;-)
