Woking Away (Now official thread) - All Ticket

Ben, is it true the away terrace holds 1700? If so, do you think we could get the remaining 500 tickets?

Also, for Albion fans who might miss out on an away seat, what area of the ground do you suggest they try and buy in, if their only option is a home area ticket?

If you're going for anywhere in the Woking sections you may as well go for the main (Gosden) stand for seating. It's got a decent view and a roof on. If you want to stand then the Kingfield Road End is pretty much your only option but this is where the Woking Ultras hang out. Not that they are too scary. Just don't wear a Stevenage scarf and you'll be fine.

The away terrace holds 1500 iirc, but when Oxford came a couple years ago and had about 2000 we decided to use as much space in the away end as possible, it didn't go down to well. I think thats one of the reasons for only having 1200 in there this time around. I am 100% sure you won't be getting more tickets for the usual away end.

As for where to go if you miss getting a ticket, i'd say the LGS (seated stand) as going in the standing area may give stewards/police the wrong idea. Also means you will be near some of your own fans as well.

Thanks, very useful

if there are less than 150 remaining, I am surprised they are available online. They pulled the SCC game with over 300 remaining........

I guess if anyone has not bought, they should do it pretty fast. Cant see them being available for much longer.

If sold out, no problem as people buying from woking ends anyway. JUST BE GOOD. I think you will be surprised how many Brighton fans are going. Don't forget flag and beach inflateable toys day for the blues / white. A good turn out....n:thumbsup:

I live a couple of miles from Woking now, and take my daughter swimming just opposite every Saturday morning. Saw the Brighton-bound coaches yesterday. You're spot on, that terrace down one side is where the away fans usually get put for segregated games. Can't be more than 1,500ish? I might go in the home end for this one, don't really like doing that but it might be easier. I don't think it'll be a shit atmosphere though, night game, possible upset, decent crowd for them...

Incidentally, I had wondered if their manager Graham Baker might have played against us when we thrashed Man City 4-0 in the 1983 4th round. He was definitely there and a regular, but may have been injured at that time.

I too live nearby, in Chobham which is only down the road. This presents a problem as I obviously want to be in the away end but do not have the requisite membership for ticket, any idea if it will be pay on the gate? apologies if already covered but haven't seen it myself.

Just read this, thanks. Is it all ticket as if it is I'd better get a move on. I suppose it will be as it's a big game for Woking.
