Could not agree more. Some bloody Nimby will pick up on this as justification that we do not need a new ground :lolol:

What a load of bollocks. How on earth can Stamford Bridge be voted worse than Vetch Field or Brisbane Road etc?

It's not all about the football ground it's self, other factors come into place aswell such as prices, atmosphere ect.

'One of the most mean-spirited,unfriendly and scruffiest stadiums in the land. Not scruffy in a wholesome way, like Goodison Park for example, but in a an extremely tacky, cheap, classless way - a £2-for-a-Mars-bar way.Where do this mob get the brassnecked spivvery to charge visiting fans £52 (Manchester Utd) and £48 (Newcastle)for a view not dissimilar to watching the match through a letterbox? Standing is a necessity.Truly a cesspit of everything that is crass about twenty-first century football.' '

You can't enjoy a game there because you're overwhelmed with the sensation of being ripped off. Foul people.'

I'm sure some of the other grounds that have been mentioned wern't far behind.

Do Manchester United really charge 52 quid for visiting fans?

No, but according to the quote, Chelsea do! Spot on description of everything that is wrong with 21st century premiershite football.

I'd agree with most of those - especially Grimsby. But where is Belle Vue, Doncaster - a truly crap ground?

Where is Colchester on that list? f***ing awful place. At least at Withdean, we go out of our way to have a crap ground. What an indictment of Gillingham, Luton and Rotherham.

I suppose our saving grace is the relatively sedate, tranquil, suburban approach to the ground, as opposed to, say, the bloody dangerous roundabout you have to cross at Reading, or the urban bog that is Gillingham.

Gillingham, Luton and Millmoor are all pretty sad, old grounds it's true, but nonsense that they are worse than our dear Theatre of Trees.

Don't like surveys like this, you could argue it implies we don't need Falmer that badly.

Um, not really. Three grounds in England worse than ours does not a coherent argument make. Especially when all three are also below us in the league.

Those three are worse than us for reasons other than their capacity. If it was down to capcity only, then of course we'd be bottom (or top) of the pile. We have a far bigger regular fan base than those three, therefore we NEED Falmer.

I think the New Den, Millwall should be in there as I know a Albion fan that lived around the corner from the ground and said it had a very intimadating feeling around the ground on match days, and that the area around the grounds dodgy.

You're right there, that labyrinth of tunnels above the industrial estate are well dodgy.
