How mad is the Estádio Municipal de Braga stadium!??

Like Withdean, it doesn't have stands behind the goals so we can do doubt look forward to players celebrating goals by cupping an ear to a rockface.

It's being used for Bulgaria v Denmark and Holland v Latvia.

Looks a bit of a dump but I'd like to see it.

'an open space at the other side that offers a natural scenography in proximity to the playing field'

So that's how we describe our stadium in future

thats one of the strangest stadium EVER! not only could you do abit of rock-climbing to celebrate a goal but also some tight-rope walking over the pitch
i'd like to see it too, reckon the sound would bounce nicely off the roffs and rock wall!

They're putting a big screen on the rock face aren't they?

Good job England aren't playing there, one Phil Neville clearance and bang goes £2 million worth of Jumbotron technology.

"The tiers are covered by a structure of steelen cables which are tightened between the two tribunes. They go across the entire playing field and recall the ancient and rusticated bridges that were constructed by the Incas".

Bloody good job we're not playing there...Butters hoofs a clearance upfield, it hits one of the cables, rebounds beyond him and the other side are straight back on the attack.

Would a game have to be stopped and re-started with a drop-ball if the ball hits the cables?
