Wise Old Brezovan Opts for a Brighter Future

Thunder Bolt

Silly old bat
Petterson against Gillingham was the worst.

I remember Mark Walton scoring an own goal of the backside of a defender. Possibly Mayo. We made Chester City look like Germany that day.

You're right, it was Petterson and not Packham, in the Gillingham game. He tried to get back on his line and slipped on the wet muddy pitch.

Sexy Pete's performance away at Stoke in the FA Cup was the day I lost my confidence in him. 3-0 down in something like 25 mins, wasn't it? Every goal was a high ball in to the box that he failed to get anywhere near.

Nothing changes:

GARY DICKER - Scarcely wasted a pass in midfield and his accuracy in possession helped keep United flowing in the second half.

BILLY PAYNTER - One early headed chance aside, there was little joy for Paynter, and injury forced him off before the end of the first half.
