Walsall 7-0
York 7-2
Charlton 7-0
Hillingdon 7-1

but did anyone on here attend these 2 matches played within 2 weeks of each other

13 Nov Wisbech 10-1
27 Nov Southend 9-1

I was there for both we were 3-0 up at half time in both games. The great Jesse Pye played fort Wisbech who I thought wore Black shorts and White shirts but I may be wrong.

Went to both. Wisbech in red. Ironically, I refereed Wisbech many times in the 80's and got to know their secretary and directors quite well. Several of them had been to the game and remembered it well! Naturally, I took great delighting mentioning it every so often! After the Southend gam we played Bedford in the next round- and lost after a replay!

Was there for both games.
Behind the south goal for Wisbech and east terrace for Southend.
19 goals in 2 games. Don't think I'll ever see that again.

My first full season with my Dad, on the chicken run, sitting on the wall near north east corner, my spot until allowed into the North Stand on my own in 1969-70, where i stood in the same area until closure.

Great times... remembered but bloody exciting now..

After Wisbech I decided that it would likely to be an anticlimax the following week and missed it. I had to wait for Bedford for the anticlimax, and had to wait a whole 90 minutes for the equaliser. Even worse, there was an audio stream for the Bedford away defeat.
