I’m not sure ‘the powers that be’ would be totally comfortable with having just one person from this kind of team a SPOTY.

I know she’s the ‘skip’, the leader and senior player with ‘the story’ all that, but it was a team gold ultimately.

I think this time ‘the team’ narrative is just too strong to highlight one person for a SPOTY nomination.
