I believe I guessed at Wigan and £2.5m at the start of this thread.

Looks like £3m plus add-ons (taking the final figure to around £4m if he plays 400 games) to Reading.

So I'll give myself a mark of 8 out of ten.

8 out of ten? You've got the club wrong and at least £500k off the price, I'd say 6 (SIX) at best.

The great thing is that when their prize asset goes for a sum WELL beneath their hair-brained valuations, you just know they'll be bigging up all kinds of assumed, non-disclosed add-ons to bump up his supposed value. Another million once he makes 30 appearances. Another 2 million if he gets an England cap. A 75% sell-on clause. A years free subscription to the Radio Times when he stays on his feet for eleven minutes. A set of steak knives in a velvet presentation case and a signed photo of Neil Buchanan when he totals his Audi R8.

Etc.

I actually want him to stay at the palace, I was thinking whilst watching Croftys tackle on Bellamy, and the performance of both of our fullbacks ( freeman could try him on either wing ) that I'd like to see the worlds greatest winger look like the fraud that he actually is at selhurst in Dec and at Falmer in their relegation fight.

I reckon they've got a major problem with Zaha.

He is probably vastly over-valued on their balance sheet and so is the only thing stopping the receivers stepping in.

They badly need to sell him to ease their finances but they can't let him go for less than their over-inflated value or they are in trouble.

I reckon they've got a £2.5m striker valued as a £10m asset.

Bad move if true, he's the only thing keeping about 5000 of them turning up every week. Sell him and there will be a riot.

Again.
