He played very well. One or two lapses in concentration, but overall great quality in defence and pushed up. Yarmolenko's in form, but was left frustrated and whinging.

Obviously not a six pointer, but getting all three points is very significant, both from a numbers perspective and psychological one; table will look much much more positive on Monday than if we had lost.

You could see the WH defence almost visibly shitting themselves when he ran at them. Though he looked very fit (has bulked up a bit of muscle) and very sharp.

After our negative recent performances and their good form, I had this down as a two thirds chance a West Ham win and one third us.

The pundits "feared for us" and it was the West Ham fans who thought they were going to smash us.

I'm elated that we turned up and gained a deserved win. It was vital.
