if this is true then it is the start of a very bad trend i feel. How long till we have Manchester United moving down to London and calling themselves London MUFC.

Where has this come from? Haven't seen anything on the news or teletext about this. I suppose though it was only a matter of time.

Who are they anyway?.. true football suporters ( who ever they support) will not even recognise MK dons. The only club is AFC Wimbledon, the story of that team is a relection of true supporters. Let hope that in 4 or 5 year they will be in the football league, I for one is following that story

If you've got a play-off final programme handy (Brighton v Brizzle City obviously) - turn to page 29, notice that there's a Skoda advert with a car covered in football league team scarves...one of these is 'MK DONS'...so looks true unfortunately. Incidently, no Brighton scarf!!!!:nono:

Quite agree! In the forthcoming season they will be playing Burgess Hill Town as they are now in the same league. If it's played midweek and doesn't clash with a Brighton match I would like to go to Leylands Park to watch (supporting AFC Wimbledon) but I doubt I'd get in as AFC take so many to away games.

This is only right - it's disgusting that they have held onto the name Wimbledon.

And I'm with LdB on this - let's hound the MK Scum club until it dies an ugly death.

so the supports who have followed there team to mk lose there team, nice

so the 500 or so fans who still follow mk dons from when they were wfc and prob followed them through the leagues go through the same pain the shots fans went through and we could of done a few years back

Hold on - do you really think this is the club being taken away from the South London-based fans NOW? The club was taken from them when it moved to MK. The end. As it is a MK team, it should be called MK.

Has anyone been along Plough Lane lately?,its a sorry site.
It must be awful for the locals who used to watch them in
the good old days.
In some ways it would have better if they had developed
the site.:nono:
