Hope she’s ok. Great grace by the Aussie lady here - fair play.

Radacanu was outmuscled tonight.
What a player though. She has an amazing all round game.

Poor girl is going to be devastated.

Suspect that she was simply not prepared for the pressure and mental intensity of such a huge occasion - with the whirlwind of British expectation surrounding her. Overwhelming.

Really hope she will learn from this and grow, rather than be damaged by this and inhibited.

She has the potential to be the greatest female British tennis player of all time.

In years gone past the day's tennis would have finished some time ago. Sticking a wildcard rookie on at 8pm for primetime veiwing is a whole heap of added presure. I think the organisers have a slightly greater duty of care than they have shown today.

Having said that, if she wants to make it to the top then this is how it is and what she will have to deal with. Hope she is able to put this behind her and become a stronger person and athlete for it.

Was McEnroe pissed?
Dud you notice that the still rebellious McEnroe was wearing a smart two piece suit and tie.....and wearing his Converses!

Unlikely. She seems to thrive on the pressure, in the main. She will put tonight behind her.
Her biggest challenge may be getting up for smaller tour events.
Putting aside the end of the match, I’m still blown away by how good she is. Her accuracy and choice of shot, is very, er, unbritish.

She's had a great tournament, hopefully the ailment is nothing more than Tom tits and a stitch.

Whether she chooses to persue a career in Pro tennis or continues to study is hopefully her choice. Her parents have done well. She's a lucky young lady.

I don't think the long wait in the dressing room would have helped.
Not sure what time she would have expected to start her match but a long 5 set game before hers would not calm any nerves.

Hope she can decide what she wants to do and is allowed to get on with it without the constant media attention she has had in the last week.
Having said that, it is very unlikely she will be left alone to play tennis. Especially at Wimbledon.
