Cilic being attended by the doctor and physiotherapist - this match may not have much left in it, he looks in serious discomfort.

There's something up with Cilic, don't know what, but he isn't right.

It looked like Cilic needed to call the doctor as a cover story for his weeping his eyes out because he's getting absolutely smashed into the ground. Amazing really, very similar to the women's final yesterday when Venus had a break point opportunity in the first set but didn't take it, then Muguruza took her first chance and that was the match really. Here, Cilic was competitive and had a break point, which he couldn't take and then Federer took his first chance and has run away with it.

Cilic looks similar to Sabine Lisicki in 2013 where she was totally overwhelmed and getting absolutely hammered, she broke down in tears and couldn't handle it. I'm not suggesting Cilic is doing the same just because Federer is absolutely humiliating him, but it looks similar.

Two of the most uncompetitive finals in Wimbledon history? ???

But only after the first break in the set, both were well involved and had their own break point chances. Neither were taken and then they fell apart but it could have been so different if Venus and Cilic had taken their break point chances.

Well, there are rumours now that Cilic was out drinking until late last night;

This bloke has posted a picture which he claims to be from last night. You'd assume it can't possibly be the case, but it might explain his sluggish performance and then his tears at the changes of ends. This is a total collapse, which can happen in any sport/life event and he's up against the best there's ever been but it doesn't really explain why his first serve percentage would crash so completely.

Federer wins in straight sets, in fact he didn't drop a set in the whole tournament.

Phenomenal stuff.

He didn't drop a set in Halle either, the man is incredible. I wonder if he fancies having a go at winning a 6th (SIXTH) US Open title now.
