Unbelievable, Jeff! As has been said, he always appreciated his limitations as an actor, hence he’s stayed in that campfest of a soap for as long as he has. Great head of hair.

What a brilliant pension scheme, £5k a week and he's probably only got to film the odd scene.

Corrie is my guilty pleasure, watching him woo two fairly attractive older ladies the other day was fairly amusing and it all going Pete tong when they found out, didn’t think he was 90… bloody hell!

I’m sure I saw a news story about him recently as well saying his body count is 1000+ 🤔😂

He’s done very well. Never watch the show myself but to hang onto a job that long in that industry is rather impressive.

Pretty sure when a Jury of 12 people find you not guilty after a thorough court case, it usually means you’re innocent 🤷‍♂️
Glad you aren't a lawyer then. It means you are not guilty in the eyes of the law. It doesn't remove any crimes you may have committed. I have no idea of the details of the case other than it was over 40 years old making proof nigh on impossible. Please be aware I make no accusations whatsoever as I only know the details that came out at the time and the fact he was found not guilty. Just challenging your assertion that a Not Guilty verdict means innocence.

Sorry about the 'clang' here Dick, but my nephew's (former) prospective Father In Law was the Judge in the case, he clearly couldn't comment publicly but I understand he had a tremendous amount of sympathy for 'Bill' at a time when historic allegations were in vogue.

Bearing in mind the amount of people ITV have distanced themselves from over the years without any conviction, Michael Barrymore and sadly Caroline Flack to name two, I can't see there is any suggestion of guilt regardless of the jury, given the contracts awarded to him since his acquittal.

I fully agree with you. In Lenny's defence he does say usually, which he has to after his thread on Russel Bishop.
