Can honestly say that the weather has NEVER affected my decision to go to a home game (an away game, different matter if the roads are going to be messed up with snow, etc)

Anyone who chooses not to go to a home game just because of the rain needs his head examined in my opinion, very fair-"weathered" support indeed!!!

Maybe not that cut and dried tho. There's a fair number of pensioners sat in the South Stand and if it was me I wouldn't want my dad or grandad risking pneumonia by sitting in the freezing rain for a couple of hours just to watch the Albion.

Don't really know what to say to that........never given the pensioners a thought, sorry for that

No worries mate. I only just thought of it meself.

The rest of the South Stand - especially those living in 'The Catchment Area' - who CHOOSE to watch the game in the pub rather than pootle along to Withdean are another kettle of fish entirely...

If the moving date is confirmed as the 2nd Feb then I won't be down and Ned will give away my ticket to someone who wants it (may ask here) but if it gets delayed AGAIN then I'll drive down to lend my voice to the singing.

I'm going as so is my 9 year old lad (whether he wants to or not) :lolol: :lolol: . I've paid for his season ticket, he can bloody well get wet with me.

It's all down to supporting the team. Imagine for them, pissing down, cold, dark, and they see a full house. What a boost.

I should also add that having not missed a home game since March 1993 then I will have to go to keep my run going if nothing else...But then I am an Albion fan and that is the real reason I am going!!

Albion & England forever.

Good grief.

I'm beginning to think it might be OK to own up to watching the 1983 FA Cup Final on the telly.

At the time my excuse was a combination of:-

1. it was difficult to get tickets;

2. we were expecting a new baby very soon;

3. we already had two young children and, after a long working week, I enjoyed spending my weekends with them;

4. it was on the telly.

Up until today, I've kept quiet about this. But it now suddenly seems to be perfectly OK to prefer to watch the Albion on the box.

All wrong, in my opinion.

I SHALL BE AT WITHDEAN COME HELL OR HIGH WATER. AND I'M LOOKING FORWARD TO THE GAME.

If youre not going to the plymouth game because 'it might rain' you really are a grade A tosser. If you want a drink, get tanked up in the pub first , get to the game at 5.30 and sing your heart out. Youll be so pissed you wont notice the weather.....

This games going out on national TV....its a promotion battle....people who already think we must be poofs will definately think were soft southern nancy boys who dont like getting a bit wet.

I'll be there, unless the M25 has other ideas. The difference between watching on TV and being there is like the difference between having sex and watching the Babe Cast.

I will go to the game to support the team. Then I will go home and probably watch a video of it all again on Sky TV. Then I will may well fall asleep with the help of Babe Cast.

Ah well, 3 out of 4 ain't bad.

I agree they are fans, but surely as fans they want to be at Withdean supporting their team, not staying away cos of a drop of weather?

(there's no such thing as bad weather, just the wrong equipment!) Love of The Albion far outways getting a bit wet.:drink:

Plymouth sold out their allocation in about two and a half minutes.

They will make a hell of a racket and probably embarrass us unless we make a good show of ourselves. This is another opportunity for Prescott to be shown how much we need Falmer. We need to sing it to raise our non-existant rafters, WE WANT FALMER.

After all the fuss yesterday about the empty seats,I was just curious to find out how many people on here who are season ticket holders will be going next Saturday if it is pissing down with rain,when you have the choice of staying at home in the dry and watching it on Sky?

I will be honest and say if it is pissing down the 3 of us will watch from the comfort of my front room.

I can only say 1 phrase to that...

"Through Thick and Thin"
