A couple of years ago I asked my then 13 year daughter ‘if anyone of her peers used Facebook?’

She laughed and replied ‘no’.

I laughed whilst wearing my shell suit, putting a CD into my CD player and feeding my tamagotchi.

It's true. Kids all use WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat etc. Not Facebook.

I’ve had a FB account for about 10 years, which I look at about every 9 months, just to check if any distant relatives or old school friends have contacted me.

I blocked the tedious news feed of sad soles giving a timeline of: arriving at restaurant, in airport departure lounge, boasting about the kids ‘achievements’. Plus the zzzz of people trying to influence others on left or right wing politics; they can’t let it go and it DOESN’T mean that I’m more likely to side with them.
