When I started going in 1969, I assumed this had always been our kit.

Bit peeved when we messed around with all white and all blue, but rather keep the stripes now.

Front AND back.

Absolutely. I haven't bought the Nike home shirts due to the fact that they've just sewn the front of a striped shirt to the back of a plain one with the obvious result of it looking rubbish.
It does raise the question that if they can't or won't do a proper striped shirt is it better to have no stripes at all?

We are Brighton and synonymous with having blue and white stripes long may it remain. With an all red change strip which is proven to be the most successful colour for a football team.

Even though only one team has ever won the World Cup wearing red.

Exactly, hence my line at the bottom of my page. Really annoyed when we went to stripes away from our traditional Sheff Wed type shirts. Yes, I know better now and it must always be stripes, for me.
