Arsenal have got Manchester City and Chelsea in between the FA Cup 3rd round replay. There's no way they'll play a full-strength team against Swansea and if their best line-up got beaten 2-0 by the Swans earlier in the season at The Emirates, these threads could end up looking ridiculous.

Swansea play Arsenal between League Cup Semi-Final legs, can't see them being at full strength either....

Surely Arsenal have to play full strength in the FA cup as they have no chance of winning anything else this season. they should see off Swansea.

Good point but it depends if Chelsea hammer them in the first leg at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday, which they seem to be doing to so many teams at the moment (8-0 v Aston Villa in the Prem, 5-1 v Leeds in the League Cup quarter-final, 5-1 v Southampton in the FA Cup 3rd round).

Surely if it were v Arsenal and televised, this would EASILY turnover £1m?

24k @ a modest average of say £26 = £624,000
3k @ say £40 for each 1901er = £120,000
TV money + advertising boards bonus = £200,000

Would leave us just needing each person in the crowd to spend ONE pound.

(of course this is TURNOVER, rather than profit, and we only actually get 45% of the gate money ourselves)
Nice call, but remember...1901 members get all cup games free as part of the package....but they will be spending money on food and drink.

Hither (sometimes Thither)
Fabianski, Santos, Vermaelen, Mertesacker, Jenkinson, Rosicky, Oxlade-Chambermaid, Ramsey, Coquelin, Gervinho, Giroud.
Not a first XI, but wouldn't be a bad lot to play against and watch. Their bench would be packed in case we took the lead too.
Swansea will come out on top now of course.
