Need 3 to 4 by the weekend to replace the useless cardboard cutouts currently in the team. To slow in midfield and no strike force

I'll get over going down, but I wont get over it if we go down without giving ourselves the best chance to stay up by strengthening the obvious gaps...midfield shocking, 1 half decent striker and no quality out wide. Sleepwalking down, seems we haven't learnt from last season

The manager needs to stop tinkering, get back to basics and get some of the experience we have back in the team. But he won’t.

Duffy back in the side is surely a no brainer. Absolute monster defender who puts it all on the line. Maybe he can't maraude forward but Webster doesn't anyway so what's the point in having a mediocre defender in ahead of a quality one if he offers nothing extra? Don't think Murray is an answer but I don't understand why Bissouma doesn't get minutes and some freedom to push on

If we want to stay up Duffy is as you say a no brainier. But I wonder if potter is too ideological to change his views.

I think it’s worth looking into the loan market if the club don’t want to spend the money.

It’s weird though. To fight so hard to get here you’d think it’d make sense to do everything in our power to stay up.

I really don’t get the recruitment decisions here. We knew we needed to replace Locadia and Andone?

I respect Potter's desire to play attractive football. And statistically we've contributed far more to games this year. But we can't go down because we're not prepared to graft and be humble enough to say I've got this wrong. Duffy needs to be playing he adds some stability and bullies attackers which Webster can't.

Maybe need to recall Ben White

1 week to go...

Mooy signing is terrific, but we still need that striker

We may need to wait until other clubs get players they need so that they can afford to let others go. Chelsea, for example ...

I've suspected that Chelsea signing a striker will allow us to proceed with the deal we want. I wish they'd get on with it.

I worry that January 31st could be PREXIT for us if some quality isn't added.
