[Albion] Will the awful showing at Everton force action in the transfer window?

There’s a blueprint for beating us now and I’m not convinced we have an answer.
We need to recruit.

Whilst I think it’s mainly work on our defending that needs to happen as well as acknowledging we’re not a team for torrential rain and heavy pitches, will today’s result force the club to bring in reinforcements?

Best relocate to the Middle East then, think torrential rain & heavy pitches are a bit less common there?

We must have spent quite a lot to sign Lallana in signing fees, with COVID on top, we seem to be signing players on the cheap. I don't think we have that much money to play with,
Are you saying we wasted half the budget on a crock from Liverpool ???

Nope, neither Tony, Dan or Graham are as desperate or simple minded as a lot of people in here.
Why do you think we are all thick? Everton just schooled us good and proper. Are you saying Potter, Ashworth etc just watched a different game where we don’t concede minutes after scoring time after time, can’t defend set plays to save ourselves... You talk a lot of shit mate.

Left wing back (although March has been really good) for competition / back up and a striker with something different. We’ve undoubtably got a squad already good enough to comfortably stay up. Been very unlucky so far, aside from today.

The new centreback arrangement hasn't gelled yet.

Webster and Dunk have gone backwards from last season and White is new.

Plenty of mork to be done by Potter and the coaches.

Back 3 isn't working defensively at all.

We need a striker, for sure.
We don’t need another defender Though. We need a defensive coach.

11th in the table of defence last season.

4 matches, 8 goals this season.

Today was a system failure. Nothing else.

Yes, they watched a different game. They always do. If they were watching the same game as a lot of people in here, ten players would be sacked after every game and ten players would be bought and after every won game they would have to erect eleven statues outside the Amex. TB, DA, GP would all be saying in the press "we're useless, doomed" after every loss and "we're heading for Europe" after every win.

But they dont. You know why? Because they watch a different game. They wont buy or sell players based on a single result or performance.

You may argue we've been unlucky in attack against Man U, but defensively we've not been unlucky, we've been poor and have gifted goals consistently.

Neither Chelsea, Man U or Everton have outclassed or beaten us with outstanding play, they've all had goals gift wrapped by poor defending and poor organisation.

Just like muff last season.

TV money is the same as every season
Sponsorship money will be lower, as no fans, gate receipts are non existent, concession money non existent, corporate deals not being done due to no fans and covid, prices are higher than inflation, costs for testing and keeping their bubble, costs for ppe, money is stretched more
