I wonder if today will be a practical interview for a job swap with the young scamp in the other technical area?
He said it himself in a presser months back I think.I think he'll be off. Similar to the quote above there was something said either by him or one of his coaching team around the time he joined about how he has a 2 year shelf life before his intensity is too much, probably for him as much as anyone else.
As I keep on saying it’s was not only MacAllister and Caicedo we have not replaced Enoch either who was looking like a really good playerMakes me laugh those who think it will be easy to replace RDZ because of our succession planning and recruitment. Yes, we upgraded from Cucurella to Estupinan, and Potter to De Zerbi - BUT the hole left by Mac Allister and Caicedo has been bloody hard to fill. As people keep pointing out on here when anyone questions why Caicedo wasn't replaced adequately, it's because once you get to a certain standard, better or like for like replacements aren't always available, don't work within our financials or are just unwilling to come to us.
Mac Allister and Caicedo didn’t come into the club as world beaters. They developed with us, even going out on loan at first.Makes me laugh those who think it will be easy to replace RDZ because of our succession planning and recruitment. Not as disastrous as your spellingIt's defiantly our lopsided recruitment policy that needs changing, it's been a disaster
The policy is good, but it is lopsided, it’s so heavily weighted towards turning a profit in 24 months time rather buying for the here and now, and that’s fine, but this season RDZ has had the rug pulled from beneath him. The club sold the nucleus of his team and didn’t do enough to strengthen the squad. All season there’s been a huge weakness in the middle of the park, we were able to disguise with the relentless attacking, but now we’ve lost 5 wingers the fragility is exposed.Lopsided? Blimey. The policy which has seen us to our most successful period in our history. Tough crowd.
I doubt we will ever go higher without the manager being backed like De Zerbi asked for .Nah, I don't think so.
As I've said elsewhere, in response to those who say "which club will he go to then?", I think the walk-off-into-the-sunset outcome is more likely, particularly after the January transfer window. And I said that with no knowledge of his Sassuolo exit.
I hope not, obviously - he's almost certainly the best manager we've had and great entertainment with it. He's taken the club to heights that few thought possible, and we may go higher still...
TBF you may not agree with the tactic but going against the long established way of doing things strikes me as the opposite of weakness. And I know it's been said elsewhere, his inability to pick a number one goalie shows weekness.
This!Dahoud was RDZ signing….
