But what if…? What on earth would you do if….? Haunted wouldn’t even be the start of things!!! No, get yer arse down next Thursday. I’ll buy you both an espresso at Cobham services ;)
I will end up going regardless and just embracing it, perhaps with a bit of gallows humour, but God they've given a decent excuse not to bother tonight!

Well I am. I bet availability of away tickets to Burnley (15 points) will be quite good now though.

If nothing else, next Thurs at least allows to give the lads a bit of appreciation for the EL ride we’ve been on.

They have. But tomorrow is another day and we both know, like scalded dogs, we always return to our footballing master. The Albion, like malaria, is in your blood. You have no say in it, and there is no known cure. See next Thursday!

You're too generous, but you obviously didn't see tonight's game which is understandable, and nor Saturday's game, which isn't.
No I didn't see tonight's game, as my mum is in hospital again and I've worn a deep groove on the M23 & M25 between Brighton and NW London in the last week. But from reports it sounds like you had chances, like on Saturday which I did see. Perhaps de Zerbi is as tactically blinkered / inept as some of you think, but I'm a bit surprised that there is such a defeatist attitude for your first European campaign. If de Zerbi can't be convinced, you can still communicate your passion directly to the players on the night.

Hate to think how much you lot that travelled to Rome have shelled out on travel, accommodation, subsistence and incidentals.

Wouldn’t blame anyone at all for giving a trip up to Burnley a swerve and giving the debit card a chance to cool down

Rome has been absolutely fantastic (apart from the result). Worth every penny. I’ll be going to Burnley as well - admittedly it’s in slightly worse nick and less well designed than the 2000 year old ruins, but gotta do it :lolol:

Excited to be going. Already invited my oldest mate saying it could be our last ever game in Europe in our entire history (that was before tonight)! Then again … I very nearly went along to (localish for me) Fulham v Juventus a few years back. What a comeback … anything can happen.

I’m going because a) it’s my team b) they deserve applause for the campaign even if has ended b) I’m not so rich I can just Chuck £50 away!

Please everyone, make the effort. Or really do feck off and support Chelsea instead - show your true colours!!
Real fans are the ones that did the hard yards in the lower divisions in my book not popping along to see Roma.

I don’t disagree but maybe Roma’s a bit more than a mere pop ;)
