Yes.

Nothing more than a meaningless friendly that’ll no doubt end 0-0 as Roma will be more interested in rolling around on the ground and we won’t be able to hit a barn door with a banjo.

But, our last game in Europe for what might be 100 years+ (it’d never happened before had it?) is certainly well worth going to.

I'll be there, but I'm absolutely sick that this is a dead rubber. REALLY sick. All I wanted was for it to be a proper tie, still alive. But no, like the Tory abolition of Worcester crisps, I've got the middle finger again.

This season is fizzling out like a Roman candle soaked in piss.

I'm going and it wouldn't surprise me if we won, albeit on the back of them resting 4 or 5 players.

I'm also fascinated by what is going on with De Zerbi. All this talk of Liverpool, Barcelona, Man Utd yet - for me - he is miles away from that level, and the last few weeks haven't done his credentials any favours. I'm not calling for his head, and I hope he commits to us for now and next season, but I've reached the point where I can see it is not the end of our world if he left.

Agreed. If you think Fulham were bad then wait to see this lot next week. Especially if Albion did score early

Can we not emulate the Massive in last year's play off. I doubt it, but I'm still well excited about schlepping from Walthamstow and back next Thursday.
Just seen the post added whilst typing.

Anyone who has tickets, but doesn't fancy it can just wait for the next time Brighton & Hove Albion are playing in the last sixteen of a European Competition.

We go disappointed, we go sad, but we go: even if just to say thanks and to celebrate with each other the journey we never thought we'd go on.
That's what we did when whatever players who could still stand faced Wednesday in the second leg of the play offs. The defiant performance and atmosphere that night didn't win the tie, but it set the tone for the following season's promotion.

True love travels on a gravel road.

The fact this is even a thread really does just play into every Palace moron’s ideas about our club

maybe if the offside goal didn’t count the fourth would not have happened?
my wife said are you still boing next week, from Spain.
Hell yes, I can applaud the best team we have ever produced, or celebrate the craziest comeback ever.
what’s not to go for

You did applaud that team, last season.

Even if the tie’s dead, we can still have a go at winning next week’s game. That wouldn’t be so bad against a team that’s won a European competition and been in the Final of another in the last 2 seasons.
