I'm a fan. But I'm not driving a 200 mile round trip and spending £40 on petrol and getting home after midnight when I have work the next day for a dead rubber. But if others think I'm not a fan, that's fine. I'd rather have that money and time thank you very much. And enjoy your opinions.
It doesn't mean that at all. Folk have different circumstances. I can understand why you would stay at home. But I think, for supporters own sakes, if they can get to the match they should try and make it a special night. It may not come around again for a long time, if ever for some.

Fair. If you're in Brighton or nearby go if you want. But for me, I'm not throwing good money after bad. The tie is done. Not sure how special a night can be when you're 4-0 down tbh. Anyone trying to make it special because "we may not play in Europe again" is deluded in my opinion. We've been thrashed.

I won't be!

But, I never was. Haven't made a home game for ages. Don't fare too well in crowds these days.

I'll have it on telly though.
I have the same problem. I've been once in four years. The bizarre thing being I watched Albion home and away all through the mediocre and downright awful years but have seen next to none of the greatest live !

Wouldn’t miss it for the world. Wednesday and Thursday night hotel booked for son and self. Who knows when this might happen again? It’s the last 16 in Europe against Roma and we’ve already played Athens, Ajax and Marseille. I’ll look back when I’m even older than now and at least think I made the effort to support the team in what had so far been a 60 year journey. Why wouldn’t you be there if you could….

its gonna be a weird experience turning up 4-0 down. One thing absolutely certain unless we are 4-0 up at around 70 minutes you'll see fans starting to leave all over the place.

why wouldn't they cant think of a better game to go to when your team is 4 up at halftime! They will have already bought tickets paid for flight of course they'll come full allocation whatever that is. What I think will unfortunately follow is a lot of violence from Brighton fans wanting revenge in different daft ways!

Abso-bloody-exactly, I will be there. Even if this is the end of our Euro adventure, I want to be there to thank them for the ride. It’s something I never imagined I’d see in my wildest dreams and if you told me I’d share these nights with my daughter when I took her to her first match at Withdean, I’d have asked for some of whatever you were on.

Plus… It might never happen again. I certainly hope it will and I’m sure Uncle Tony has his secret plans and clever tricks but you just don’t know.
