Yay a thread about Hoskins and it turns into a bunch of tits finding now reasons to moan Barnes AGAIN!!!!!! Please bor off now honestly, last year Barnes was our top scorer the whole season yet I bet you still moaned every week to have him out of our team. Yet one person put a team sheet up about Hoskins and you kick off about Barnes again. I'm not saying I agree or disagree with that team sheet but I'm just f***ing bored of you moaning bastards. We are Brighton and hove albion we are TEAM we are not a one player. So please if you want to talk about Barnes and moan cos he's not your cup of tea please f*** off. The fact is Barnes was one member of the best strik team we have seen in years at Brighton and only 2-3 goals behind Murray that year. And honestly without sounding like a (I've had my s/t longer than you) 95% of fans who were there that season at the withdean don't moan about Barnes cos we know we wouldn't be where we are with out him, f*** it lets go back to the days of Craig Davis (you know the player that score 4 againest brummy this year and all you lot moaned about us getting rid of him and that he's amazing he was yet he's done nothing since :/ and did nothing for us :/). IF YOU WANT TO MOAN ABOUT OUR TEAM And PLAYERS ALL THE TIME PLEASE f*** OFF ABD SURPORT MAN U. Rant over!!!!!

A rant but an excellent rant!Well said!

Too subtle for me, SS. Perfectly plausible suggestion for a starting XI, and you never know, Gus could go with it at some point soon, but I'm not sure Wolves is the right place.

Great gif, by the way.

Yes I guess it is plausible, maybe Bristol City?

And thanks, it's always worth watching again

And again.

And again.

Reading between the lines of phatsams contribution could it be that although he did well last season perhaps he is not quite up to Championship standard.

Wanna play that game did CMS live up to championship standards last year? Or was he a little bit of a flop yet non of these so called fans jumped down his throat, Barnes was our top scorer last year where would be without his goals last season? Hmmmmm I'm a fan of branes and tbh don't really like CMS or his style but as a BRIGHTON FAN I surport him as want to see him do well and get us far. Not sit on NSC slagging him off

Barnes could score 3 own goals and he'd still be the first name on the team sheet.

You know these pictures that Barnes has of Gus ?
Well come on NSC, what do think Gus was doing in them ?

I like Barnes,he does so much for the cause, and his record will give us at least 10 goals a season.Hoskins cost a lot of money(when you compare his cost against the rest of the squad). He has injury and it seems family issues, but now all is ok . Good luck the the player, now its time to deliver,i really hope he does, however at this moment i for one cannot bracket him with Barnes........Now if CMS plays as badly as he did against Peterborough then Hoskins has a chance. We need at least 4 strikers anyway, and Gus will only play one anyway........

Very good point! This whole hating players is doing my head in, I gentally waited till the last day to renew my s/t this year cos I honestly was thinking it would be better to watch on telly than sit next to morons who moan about the team 5 minutes into the game. I'm feed up with the fans not the players, I have talk to my friend who got me into Brighton few years back and we both have said we would rather be back at the withdean years not cos we don't like the Amex, we love it but we can't stand these shit fan that have had a ticket for a year and stand there fing and blinding about Brighton players, for me I'd rather be standing in the pissing rain in h block south and withdean singing with the real Brighton fans again than listen to these "Brighton fans" slag there team off. The whole of last year away days felt more of a home game that the Amex does and sadly this season is feeling the same again.

Random question after watching the game highlights and Hoskins interview.....Why was Hoskins the only player that didn't have a collar on his shirt?

He always rips his collar off...superstition perhaps, dunno. Seen it in previous pictures. Perhaps that's why he does'nt get to play that often, too expensive on kit?

Funny I remember plenty of 'real Albion fans' moaning at withdean some in h block as well!!

Cheers hadn't noticed this before. At least they are easy to rip off with the quality of the current shirt

I believe he could be the striker we have been looking for.

Moaning has always been there from the fans. Even when we win there are plenty of folks who would prefer to be negative. Not that it's not always wrong mind....
